S.T.E.M Club

Our S.T.E.M Club is designed to educate our youth with the skills and knowledge to be successful in any S.T.E.M related field.

About The Program

The S.T.E.M Club provides youth insight into the vast field of S.T.E.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Our goal is to increase the critical thinking skills of each youth through hands-on activities and projects. We know that the world is becoming more technology dependent as time progresses. We want to provide local youth with the opportunity to gain the necessary skills early so they can be prepared after graduating high school.

What To Expect

Participants should expect to learn all about each of the four fields of S.T.E.M. Participants will work together in teams to complete various projects. Each project is designed to increase the critical thinking and teamwork skills of each youth. We will also educate them about the vast number of careers available. Our staff also welcomes the volunteer efforts of parents and members of the community to help facilitate weekly events.

Requirements To Join

To become a member of S.T.E.M Club, enrolled youth must be between the ages of 6 and 17 years old. Youth must also be members of the Youth Enrichment Center. Meetings occur once a week and attendance will be mandatory. If a member is unable to attend a meeting that week, they must provide staff with advance notice.
