The Workforce Development Center provides training and professional development classes to men and women seeking to establish skills for sustainable employment in the private sector and government jobs. MOCEDC partners with local employers and local colleges to create a database of jobs skills and career readiness requirements to match client’s profiles.

The Road to Success 2nd Chance Workforce Center (RTS 2CWC) is designed to provide a comprehensive skills preparation program that meets the client’s needs in reaching his or her desired long-term and short-term goals, ultimately contributing to the betterment and growth of the community.
The RTS 2CWC provides training and professional development opportunities to men and women seeking to develop skills for sustainable employment. The Center provides, marginal and intensive evaluations, which includes specialized assessments, development of individualized employment and career plans. As a member of the South East Regional Re-Entry Council (SERRC) we seek to provide “Second Chance opportunities” for individual seeking a Win-Win Victory for a New Start, within our program design. The Center works with local colleges and employers for job referrals and trade skills development, for individuals program.. Center offers 15 hour Professional Development course.

RTS 2CWC goal is to Support, Teach, Enable and Prepare (STEP) low wealth, 2nd Chance individuals, families and ex-offenders for Occupational readiness with academically related Directives. Teach reading, writing and communication skills to adults and out-of-school teenagers in an environment where everyone will build themselves a better life. Through the Dollar General Adult Literacy Initiative. SWC

GED Essential Education—Meets 3 days per week to prepare for GED-HISET– TASC ACT WorkKeys online Assessment-(by appointment)
RTS Computer Training– Basic Computer Skills, Creating Word document, Searching Google, Creating and using email, Intermediate and Advance classes available
Adult Basic Education (ABE) – gain more responsibility on their jobs, become more competent at what they do and find better jobs and careers
Job Assistance/Training—Workforce Readiness Professional Development 15 hour course (Soft Skill training, Microsoft Office Overview, Job Search training, Resume Writing, Job Transitioning, Dress for Success, Nixing the Interview and You and Your Money)
Resume Writing—Assisting with formatting and highlighting appropriate work experience
