About The Program

Our purpose is to help bring together all stakeholders who could offer assistance and resources to help offender/formerly incarcerated individuals to become productive citizens, reduce recidivism and victimization. The LRC Council needs your help. Join a committee today and help make a difference in Hoke County. The Local Reentry Council (LRC), includes operation, design, and implementation of the reentry process within the county. The Local Executive Committee will work together with the Intermediary Agency Service Providers Committee works to bring ideas and additional resources through a MOA agreement to the LRC. The Reentry Mission

To facilitate the collaboration of community resource groups to develop a planning strategy for effective reintegration of ex-offenders, thereby reducing recidivism, supporting victims, and promoting public safety in Hoke County. The LRC is looking for organizations to sign a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to provide services to those we assist. What To Expect

The Hoke County Reentry Council works to ease the transition of former inmates back into society. We coordinate with existing local and statewide resources to provide formerly incarcerated individuals with the chance to start over. Financial support is provided to formerly incarcerated individuals reentering society. Our support staff also keeps in touch with employment training programs, giving individuals the opportunity to apply for in-demand positions. Case managers help to provide extra support

Requirements To Join

Any individual returning to Hoke County following incarceration in a federal or state prison or local jail is eligible to join. We also provide services to the following:

* Individuals in prison scheduled to be released within the next 6 months.

* Individuals being released from detention facilities.

* Individuals currently on probation, parole, and or post-release supervision.
