Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Neighbors Helping Neighbors is a program dedicated to forging strong bonds within the community by allowing neighbors to assist one another across the state.

About The Program

The goal of Neighbors Helping Neighbors is to provide local communities a chance to help each other out. The program enables members to come together for a shared interest or goal. Members help to coordinate and deliver groceries, medications , and other essential items to their neighbors who are unable to do so. We want to bring communities back to the mindset of helping one another in times of crisis.

What To Expect

Members of Neighbors Helping Neighbors should expect to constantly be on the move. This includes traveling to grocery stores to buy food and supplies, going to pharmacies to pick up medication, helping to clean up debris that is too heavy for one person to handle to name a few. The program also accepts donations from within the community. Donations will be sifted and sorted in appropriate categories. We also assist in helping community members find new housing and moving them into their new homes. Members can expect to lend an ear to those who are struggling emotionally and provide them resources to make it through.
