Youth & Arts Community

The Youth & Arts Community offers a safe, engaging, and constructive environment for youth to express themselves through the arts. Whether it be through music, drawing or dance we want them to know that there is a place where their sense of creativity is welcomed.

About The Program

Our Youth & Arts Community Program seeks to find engaging ways in which youth can express themselves and to remain out of trouble. The arts are the perfect medium for displaying individuality and creativity in a positive manner.

What To Expect

Participants of the Youth & Arts Community should expect to have their time filled with producing creative activities. There are many aspects to art and each student will have the chance to express themselves and the art that they love. Areas will be dedicated to music, traditional art, and dance. Students will be provided with the opportunity to share the art that they create with others. There will be plenty of art supplies available but we also accept donations from parents and community members. Classes will be taught by volunteers from the community and by art and music teachers from local area schools.

Requirements To Join

To be a member of the Youth & Arts Community, you must be a youth between the ages of 9 and 17 years old. Youth must also be members of the Youth Enrichment Center. Meetings occur once a week and attendance will be mandatory. If a member is unable to attend a meeting that week, they must provide staff with advance notice.
